A valid full driving licence is required, alongside identification and proof of your current address. 3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be completed via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Bearsden office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are stated in British Pounds (£) and include applicable VAT. Payments can be made using major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment gateways.
4. Picking Up and Dropping Off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Bearsden, it is important to conduct a thorough inspection and report any pre-existing damage without delay. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and signed by both parties. When returning the vehicle, it should be in the same condition as when it was collected, accounting for normal wear and tear; any new damage will be evaluated and charged appropriately. Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- Use of our vehicles for any unlawful activities is prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other dangerous driving practices. Transporting hazardous materials is strictly forbidden. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or using the vehicle for purposes beyond its design is prohibited. Exceeding passenger or weight limits, as well as driving outside designated geographical areas without prior consent, is not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Car Hire bears no responsibility for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business that may arise from your use of our services in Bearsden. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
